Voting opens for 2026 Florida's Best Awards presented by Sunshine State Tourism
Updated: Oct 9
The second annual Florida's Best awards opened for voting on 10-10 (VOTE HERE), the same date as the inaugural Florida's Best went live a year ago. This year, there are 60 categories spread across four different groupings – Food, Drink/Nightlife, Shopping and Events/Attractions. Voting will last through 2026 and the Florida's Best champions in all 60 categories will be announced on Jan. 1.
More finalists can still be added.
This year, the competition opens with 1,350 total finalists but that number can grow as we receive more recommendations. Last year, more than 250 finalists were added based on recommendations after the voting went live, and several of them wound up taking first place in their category. The 2025 Florida's Best ended with nearly 2,000 finalists spread across 100 categories. So it's never too late to send in your recommendations.
None of the finalists have paid a penny to be included.
This is not a paid list. We choose our finalists through our three Rs: Research, Reviews and Recommendations. We want this site to be a legit Florida's Best in everything from beaches to breweries, and we want it coming from the locals who know this state the best.
